POLAR BLAST (2018)
POLAR BLAST is a Breakout-inspired, 3D augmented reality game that rewards practice and precision, made by a team of five.
[Quick summary: I was responsible for art direction and UI/UX. My work includes:

Researching the aesthetics of similar and competing games, and that of our theme

Developing the visual style of the game and its components

Creating personas after working with group members to determine our target audience

Creating screen mock-ups, designing UI elements, and designing a stylish, ergonomic AR mat]

- Creation of personas (behaviours and wants divided into three personas)
- How the AR Mat was designed (theming + ergonomics)
- Feedback from John, and how we responded (removal of origami art style etc.)
